Is It Your Dream To Become A Writer?

Have you ever dreamed of writing your own novel, memoir or even children's book but don't know where to start? Do you feel frustrated knowing you have a story to tell but you just don't know how to make the first move?

Well, it is NEVER too late to follow your dream and write and publish your own book. I believe EVERYONE has the ability to write but perhaps you are lacking confidence or knowledge of where to start?

This basic creative writing course will give you everything you need to start on your own writing journey. You don't even need to know what you want to write about.

This course will allow you to write freely and to find your own path to writing your own book.

We will look at everything from brainstorming ideas for your book, how to create a writing routine for yourself, how to get through writers block and avoid imposter syndrome, how to actually write your book and finally we shall explore ways to publish your book.

During the class I will provide writing exercises to help you develop your writing technique. Remember, 'the more you write, the easier it becomes.'

Dates and times to be confirmed.

Photography for Writers Using A Mobile Phone

Photographs can tell a story, even without words. We can look at a photo and instantly assess the mood, location and background to the image. Photographs can give us inspiration and an incentive to write our own story, especially when we are suffering with writer's block and we find it difficult to put pen to paper. As a writer we may be inspired to write articles for magazines, newspapers or newsletters. It is often advisable to submit a photograph with your article as it has more chance of being accepted for publication and as most of us have a mobile phone in our pocket, then it is easy to take photos.

This course will help you take better photographs using your mobile phone. I will teach you by using my own Iphone 15 Pro but any smart phone can be used.

The course will teach you -

How to plan your day when searching for the ideal photographs.

How to find the right location for your needs.

How to take professional quality photographs, looking at compostition, light, angles and background.

How to edit your photographs to create a high quality finish.
